Weekly Update: Week of 2/24/20
This week, we move on to the concept of graphing inequalities on the number line. Students will compare positive and negative numbers and graph the inequalities. Students often have trouble with this concept, as an inequality can have infinite solutions. This is often the first time students have been introduced to the idea that there can be more than one solution to a problem. Thus, we'll spend three days on this concept with a series of both whole group and independent lessons to solidify the idea. Students will have a quiz on Thursday and start graphing on all four quadrants of the coordinate plane at the end of the week.
